I believe that both the Democratic and Republican ideals, even though each have their strengths, are both obsolete for the 21st century global economy. These parties and what they stand for were created in isolation in the United States and reached their peak in the 20th century. Now, with forces of the global economy directly influencing life in the United States each minute of every day, they are no longer applicable in their present form.
